  1. You ask your assistant a football question.
  2. It picks the right 442ball tool and asks for one club, league or list.
  3. 442ball answers with its own ratings, capped and read-only.
  4. Your assistant replies, with links to the 442ball pages.

What it never returns

  • Scores, fixtures or results.
  • Lineups or player statistics.
  • Data or identifiers from our football data provider.
  • 442ball's internal ids.
  • Predictions or odds of any kind.

The limits

So the connector stays fast and fair for everyone, each network address gets:

  • 60 calls a minute, 600 an hour and 2,000 a day.
  • 500 different clubs or leagues a day.
  • 300 name lookups an hour.
  • Answers of up to 16 KB each.
  • Rankings of at most 20 clubs, history of at most 60 monthly points, and at most 5 results for a name.
  • Only clubs and leagues that have a live 442ball page.

A call over a limit gets a plain message saying which limit was reached and when it resets.

Privacy

What it collects

  • Only what the limits need. Your network address is kept only as a salted hash, never as the address itself.
  • A call log of the tool used, the 442ball clubs or leagues asked about, the size of the answer, how long it took and whether it succeeded.
  • No conversation content, no cookies and no account.

How long it is kept

The call log is deleted after 30 days. Rate-limit counters last only as long as their window: a minute, an hour or a day.

Who it is shared with

No one. It stays on 442ball's own server.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The connector is free. Some assistants offer custom connectors only on certain plans; where that is not documented, check with the platform.

What does 442ball see?

Only the tool request itself, for example which club. Never your conversation. Your network address is kept only as a salted hash, and the call log is deleted after 30 days.

Why does my assistant show a warning?

Assistants warn about any connector they did not build. 442ball has no sign-in and only reads public ratings, so nothing can be changed through it.

Are the ratings predictions?

No. They measure how strong results have been, using a published method. They are not predictions, odds or tips.

Something does not work. Who do I contact?

Email hello@442ball.com with the assistant you use and what you asked.
