1. Who we are, and what you are agreeing to

442ball is operated by Eduloom Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India. Our legal name, corporate identity number, registered office and contact address are set out at the end of this page and on our About page.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Where we refer to "we", "us" or "our" we mean Eduloom Technologies (OPC) Private Limited. Where we refer to "you" we mean the person using the site.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data, and our Copyright page, which explains how to raise an intellectual property concern.

2. What 442ball provides

442ball publishes football fixtures, results, league tables, squads and player statistics, together with written analysis. Access to the site is free and no account is required.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, including individual pages, competitions or statistics. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption.

Nothing on this site is advice. It is published for information and general interest only, and you should not treat it as a basis for any decision that matters to you.

3. Where the data comes from, and the limits of it

Match, competition, club and player data on this site is supplied to us by a third-party sports data provider. We ingest it, store it, recompute parts of it such as league tables, and present it. We do not gather it from the pitch ourselves.

THE DATA IS PROVIDED AS IS. We make no warranty, express or implied, that any figure, fixture, score, table position, statistic or biographical detail on this site is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose. Provider feeds carry errors, arrive late, and are sometimes corrected after publication. Our own processing can introduce errors of its own.

We publish the method behind our numbers and we mark data we could not verify rather than presenting a guess as a fact. That is a commitment about how we work. It is not a warranty of accuracy, and it does not make the data suitable to rely upon.

4. Club crests, competition logos and player images

Club crests, competition logos, national flags and player photographs shown on this site are the property of their respective owners. We do not own them and we claim no rights in them.

They appear here for one purpose only: to identify the club, competition or person the surrounding information is about. They are displayed at small sizes beside the name they depict, they are served from the provider's own infrastructure rather than copied onto ours, and they are never used as decoration, as branding for 442ball, or in a way that suggests a commercial connection.

If you own one of these marks or images and you object to its use here, please contact us using the details at the end of this page or through our Copyright page, and we will remove it.

5. We are not affiliated with any league, federation or club

442ball is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to FIFA, UEFA, any national football association or federation, any league organiser, or any football club, competition or player named on this site.

Names, marks and images are used for identification only. Any reference to a league, club or competition describes the subject of our coverage and does not imply any relationship with it.

6. Acceptable use

You may read, link to and share pages on this site freely, and you may quote short extracts with attribution and a link.

You may not use automated means to copy the site or a substantial part of it, including scraping, crawling beyond what our robots.txt permits, or systematic downloading of pages or data, whether to build a competing service, to train a model, or for any other purpose. Our robots.txt states which automated agents we permit and what we permit them to do, and it forms part of these terms.

You may not interfere with the operation of the site or attempt to gain access to any part of it that is not publicly available. You may not remove or obscure any attribution, or present our material in a way that suggests we endorse you.

You may not use this site, or data taken from it, in connection with betting or gambling services.

7. Our own material

The written analysis, page structure, design and code of this site belong to us. Factual football data does not, and we make no claim over the underlying facts of a match.

Our written material is produced with the assistance of AI systems under our editorial direction, and we say so openly on every page. Our Transparency page explains how that works.

You may quote a short extract of our writing with attribution and a link. Republishing a whole piece, or a substantial part of it, requires our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms that are not expressly set out in these terms.

We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether that loss arises in contract, in tort including negligence, or otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the fullest extent that jurisdiction permits.

This site links to pages we do not control, including our own accounts on social platforms. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any site we link to, and a link is not an endorsement.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one in force, and the effective date at the top of the page tells you when it changed.

We review these terms whenever the site's function changes materially, for example if we begin offering accounts, take payment, or change where our data comes from. A change in what the site does is a change in what these terms have to describe.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site are governed by the laws of India.

The courts at Mysore, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country where the law of that country gives you that right.
